The TAIVE Sauna Design Philosophy
The TAIVE Sauna Collection combines Finnish craftsmanship, thoughtful design and personalised planning. Carrying the Key Flag Symbol, our sauna furniture and structures are crafted at our own carpentry workshop in Suomenoja, Espoo, using high-quality Finnish birch plywood.
Solidly constructed and clean-lined, the products resemble high-quality furniture more than a traditional sauna, bringing a timeless and sophisticated feel to the space. D4-class adhesive and an M1 emission classification ensure excellent structural strength and minimal movement caused by changes in humidity.
By combining different elements, we create a unique sauna tailored to your preferences – from the technical implementation to surface materials, finishes, colours and lighting.
Tones & finishes of the collection
The surface veneer options for furniture and panelling include warm-toned Hemlock, natural CWP-treated Birch and grey-toned CWP-treated Kelo. The veneers themselves offer three beautiful tones, complemented by five additional colour finishes. The chosen tone has a significant impact on the style and atmosphere of the space, with options ranging from light to dark interior styles.
Materials and tones can also be explored at home before making a decision. Free samples of the desired tones are available to help find the option that best suits your style.
