TAIVE sauna benches take your sauna experience to a new level. TAIVE sauna benches are designed with tailored TAIVE bench modules to fit your sauna. Our designers will incorporate your wishes into your layout, and always provide you with alternate solution options, if available. Our carpenters will complete a test assembly in our factory prior to shipping to assure the perfect fit. The bench solutions are structurally robust and do not require additional support from the floor. You can also order the basic units from us and build your sauna interior yourself.

High quality is the key factor in all TAIVE sauna products. The products are manufactured in the carpenter’s workshop in Espoo, Finland, using Finnish materials. The carbon footprint of the products is small. All CARIITTI products have been granted the Key Flag symbol as a proof of the Finnish origin.

The collection is made of Finnish birch plywood lined with Hemlock or CWP Birch veneer. All adhesive binding is made with weatherproof D4 glue with emission class M1. The structure guarantees very high stress strength and low deformation.

TAIVE bench solutions are structurally robust, resembling more the products of furniture industry. The bench frames are assembled with dowel joints, with dowel pins and nuts. The massive wood material usually slightly shrinks in the sauna heat and this often loosens up the joints or causes unpleasant creak or even breakages of the benches. TAIVE bench frame is made of Finnish birch veneer with minimal deformation. Any looseness in frame joints can be easily tightened with a hex key.

The bench bracket is a special joist hanger, made of acid-proof stainless steel. The construction of the bracket prevents the displacement of the bench bracket and therefore these sauna benches cannot fall off the wall. The construction and material of the bench brackets also prevent any unpleasant creaks.

TAIVE benches are designed to be mounted to the sauna walls without legs. The units of the upper and lower benches and backrests can be easily removed for cleaning and maintenance. Noise-cancelling silicone bumpers ensure air flow and moisture dispersion between the seat and the frame.

The standard TAIVE units are delivered without any surface treatment. Prior to final assembly we recommend treatment with sauna wax, which protects the wood from moisture and dirt, making cleaning your sauna easier. Surface treatment is to be repeated at least twice a year depending on the use of the sauna and recommendation of the sauna wax manufacturer.

You can select any of the five standard colors. Sauna wax treatment is applied by hand, and minor variation in color may occur due to natural variation in wood grain.

TAIVE wall panels are specially designed to be used in a sauna. All four sides are tongued, and the panel is widely applicable also in other interiors. Also extending the panelling is easy. Visible surface of the panel is 2400 x 280 mm and thickness 10 mm. The material is Finnish birch plywood lined with Hemlock or CWP Birch top veneer. The panels can be colored with the same colors as the benches.

Wall panels are recommended to be treated with Tikkurila Supi Sauna Wax, with the selected color. The standard TAIVE units are delivered without any surface treatment but they can be ordered with wax treatment. The treatment protects the wood from moisture and dirt, making cleaning your sauna easier.

The dressing room creates the first impression of the upcoming sauna experience. TAIVE dressing room furniture will complete your sauna interior. The dressing room modules are equal to TAIVE sauna benches which will make the interior design of the spa harmonious and beautiful. The sitting bench has an opening lit with a lot of space underneath. The cabinet is an elegant detail in the dressing room interior.

The furniture is made of Finnish birch plywood lined with Hemlock or CWP Birch veneer. The dressing room furniture can be colored with the same standard colors as sauna benches and panels.

Dressing room benches

TAIVE Sauna Headrest is made of the same profile as the backrest of TAIVE benches. The headrest is designed to give good support to the neck and head.

The material is Finnish birch plywood lined with Hemlock or CWP Birch veneer. The headrest has silicone bumpers beneath which prevents scratches to the benches. The headrest size is 300×370 mm. It can be colored with the same colors as sauna benches.

TAIVE door handle welcomes you to the sauna. It has the same design as TAIVE benches and it is easy and comfortable to take hold of.

The installation requires only one hole in the glass door, and the old wooden knob can be replaced by TAIVE door handle. The material is Finnish birch plywood lined with Hemlock or CWP Birch veneer. The length is 400 mm. The door handle can be colored with the same colors as the sauna benches.

The handrail is mounted directly on the surface of the panel, and it helps to ascend and descend safely.

The handrail is made of oak, and as a streamlined element it fits perfectly in your TAIVE sauna. The structure is firm, diameter Ø 40 mm.
